On August 27, 2018, the China Oral Health Foundation launched the first “Denture Caring Week” in Beijing and released the “Action Plan of Denture Care”. At the same time, the China Oral Health Foundation will launch the theme of “Denture Caring Week” in the last week of August.
Professor Hongchen Liu, vice chairman of the China Oral Health Foundation, pointed out that dentures (false teeth) can restore the patient's chewing function, pronunciation and beauty, but if not properly treated, it will affect oral health and general health. After denture repair, oral hygiene should be maintained, natural teeth and dentures should be cleaned daily, and oral examinations should be carried out regularly at dental hospitals or dental clinics.
At the event site, the Secretary-General of the China Oral Health Foundation and the Dean of the Peking University School of Stomatology, Chuanbin Guo, presented the "Action Plan of Denture Care" to the denture wearers and medical staff present on behalf of the China Oral Health Foundation.
At the same time, Professor Wensheng Rong, the deputy secretary-general of the China Oral Health Foundation, presented the trilogy of the denture care action plan. The denture wearers also shared the daily oral care experience.
In order to benefit more people, nearly 200 dental clinics and other institutions across the country will also carry out relevant publicity activities during the “Denture Caring Week” to help the public welfare cause.
